Hillside Public Schools staff and faculty filled the Hillside High School auditorium on the morning of January 3rd, 2024! Our Hillside professionals were treated to an astonishing presentation led by Mr. Abran Maldonado, leading Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) expert, ChatGPT, and OpenAI Ambassador! Mr. Maldonado introduced Hillside Public Schools staff to recent wonders in A.I. that can be utilized to revolutionize instruction within the classroom! Superintendent Glover delivered a motivational, inspiring speech before introducing Abran Maldonado to the stage. The Hillside Public Schools staff loved the presentation, it was the perfect way to commence the second half of the school year.

Santa Claus came to town! Milk & Cookies with Santa 2023 is in the books, and it was spectacular! The Hillside High School gymnasium was filled to near capacity on the night of December 13th, 2023, as Hillside families, students, and children were greeted by Santa Claus himself! Parents, and families, got to take pictures with Santa, participate in various fun activities at different tables, and receive gifts during the toy giveaway! Hurden Looker had a cyberbullying awareness /spreading kindness assembly on November 28th, 2023. Detective Greene from the Union County Prosecutor’s Office came out to Hurden Looker to share information with the students about what Cyberbullying is, and how we can prevent it from happening with our actions! Hurden Looker 5th and 6th grade students were challenged to spread kindness everywhere, even on social media.
