Mrs. Orabona's second graders worked collaboratively to plan a Thanksgiving dinner during math class this week. The students were given a $75 budget, and they had to work together to pick items from the menu, being careful not to go over their budget! Students either added up items until they got to $75, or they started at $75 and subtracted until they got to $0. It was tuuurrrriffic fun!
