What an extraordinary evening. Thank you to every student who performed tonight — your hard work, your courage, and your joy on that stage made this night truly special.
But a performance like this doesn't happen by chance. It happens because of two remarkable educators who believed in these students long before tonight — and who showed up, day after day, to help them believe in themselves.
To Ms. Vesela Manoilova — thank you for giving our 2nd and 3rd graders a voice, literally. You taught them to listen, to breathe together, and to find the power in singing as one. The chorus you have built is a reflection of your patience, your warmth, and your dedication to every child in that room.
To Mr. Kenneth Brandyberry — thank you for putting instruments in our students' hands and teaching them that music is a discipline worth mastering. The Band and String ensemble you have cultivated speak volumes about your commitment, your craft, and your belief that young people rise to meet high expectations.
We also want to take a moment to extend our deepest gratitude to Acting Superintendent Dr. Gretal Perez. Dr. Perez, your partnership with DGTA and with Principal Graham made this evening possible. Nights like this do not happen without leadership that genuinely believes in the students and families of this school — and you have shown that belief in everything you do.
Your support allows us to be our very best — and on behalf of the entire DGTA community, thank you.
