Deanna G. Taylor Academy

The Hillside Branch of the NAACP is proud to announce that Faith Romain, a student at Deanna G. Taylor Academy, has been named one of six district-wide winners of the 2026 Charlotte Jones Black History Month Essay Contest. A special thank-you to Nicole Graves-Watson, M.A., Founder and President of the NAACP Hillside, NJ Branch, for visiting Deanna G. Taylor Academy to present gifts and celebrate all of the contest participants.
